In addition to be an excellent stationary voltage converter, this module is especially useful for larger scale rolling stock as it can handle both AC and DC input voltages. The output voltage is adjustable and will maintain accuracy to within +/- 0.5%. Depending on the output voltage setting it can support up to 2 Amps of current output. Physical size of board is 1" x 2" and about 1.125" tall. -

Panel Mounted Atlas Switch Machine Control We offer a panel mounted remote control for the Atlas Switch Machine. These are used in several scales in model railroad applications. The kit includes a PC board mounted below the panel; the LED indicators for switch position along with panel mounted switch. Two wires needed to connect to each switch machine. This control operates in parallel with the actual Atlas switch machine. This control resolves the hot switch machine experienced with other products! It will work with one or multiple switch machines. The limit is determined by the transformer supply and the wire size feeding the switch machine. The kit will also operate the NJ switch machine or may be operated with a capacitive discharge supply. When using a DC supply with provided electronics you can operate a DC switch machine as well. Kit Components Each kit includes the PC board, control panel switch, and red/green LEDs with current limiting resistors pre-mounted. Instructions included of course! The PC control board has screw terminals for ease in connection and double sided foam backing for easy mounting. The second option has the same control board but with a higher powered supply for those that wish to use their own panel lighting and switch. Background Most baggage cars had some form of lighting so the workers could find things. This kit uses track power and reaches full brightness around 8.5 volts track voltage. Operation Baggage compartment door areas (two) each have a set of LED lights. Brightness is user defined and flicker free. The standard kit is identical to the regular car lighting kit and may be ordered here or as a coach car. This kit is 15 5/8" long and uses the standard passenger kit. The second item in the drop down menu is the DIY kit and comes with supply and two 2" segments along with wires for you to install. If you have a shorter baggage car or want to save some $$, then you want the second DIY option. This later version is cheaper, fully lights the two baggage areas, and requires soldering to assemble and install. If you are ordering the Strip LED Power Supply (D-I-Y) & LEDs segment roll, you can do all this yourself! -
Bill Board Power Supply. This power supply supports the range of billboards sold by Len’s Train & Custom Diecast Shop that use the three AA battery holder. The suitability of this power supply for other applications has not been tested. It can replace the Lemax Adadptor Item #645017. Up to six (6) billboards may be powered from a single supply when using a minimum of 5 volts up to 25 volts feeding the screw terminals of the Royz Trains power supply. If a DC supply is used, connect the positive to the right side of the screw connector. To connect one or more billboards, first cut the wires to the supplied battery box. Bare the two wires and connect to the red and black wires from the supply. Provide input power to the supply as noted above. If the billboard lights do not lite, reverse the white wires from the billboard. The quick connect adapter shown is available for a nominal charge. High Current Version A high current version of the supply is also available and will support up to 12 of the Lemaz billboards simultaneously. -
Complete Blower type Smoke Unit. Operates from track voltage. It may also be controlled by TMCC and external chuff switch such as a cherry or reed switch. When not in full chuff, there will be some smoke emanating from the stack. For diesel operation, the smoke is continuous at the maximum level. This unit Smokes MUCH better than standard Lionel unit and a little less than MTH. Demo here: Smoke Operation Smoke unit can operate from either AC or DC track voltage. Details are provided in the accompanying instructions. Fixed smoke output and fan operation is achieved with about 8.5 VAC (9.5 VDC) input. This is a two part unit. The bottom attaches to our smoke unit directly. After installing, the top portion screws into the lower through the stack. TAS Smoke Unit Sometimes we have used TAS Smoke units and/or just the electronics. These have been checked to ensure they are operational. -
This kit has the DIY LED supply, 6" of LED segments and includes the Ngineering EOT with LED. The EOT Simulation module & LED are also sold separately elsewhere on this site. The EOT operation is a very close approximation to the standard one used on real railroads. If your caboose already has a LED in place, you can attach this kit directly to it, instead of the supplied red LED. See options below for dual kit, or pre-assembled. Background The diagram and supporting installation notes help the user to successfully include this kit in your steam engine. This is a Royz Trains product developed for use with the ERR electronics. The biggest advantage is to allow fully synchronized smoke and chuff sound. We also offer a smoke unit that gains full smoke output at 8.5 VAC track voltage. Operation With this item installed, even the basic AC Commander will operate with the Sound board in sync with the smoke chuff! In addition, the sound kit chuff switch can be wired to operate both the smoke generator and the sound kit simultaneously. -
The standard passenger LED kit is used to keep costs low. By positioning the standard kit over the vestibule, all three areas (vestibule, room, and baggage) are fully lit! The kit will support applications of all manufacturers with interior length of 15 5/8" up to 21". Kit provides LED Lighting in passenger/mail service areas plus additional LEDs above baggage/service door area. Brightness user defined. Flicker free. The kit is designed to fully illuminate the passenger and RPO (or baggage) area of a car. For MTH applications you will reuse the existing double-ended plug per the instructions. In some applications, you may want to illuminate only the passenger area and leave the RPO/Baggage area dim. This can be accommodated but shortening the board using the instructions. If you are looking for different levels of lighting in the baggage area, for example, then drop us a line or build your own with separate strip lighting supply, segments, and resistors to control different area lighting. -

Crossbucks Lights with LEDs
We have several variations of these Custom Signal Crossbucks. These signals work with our Crossbuck Controller and IR sensors. For isolated track sections, the more simpler Controller works great. These crossing signals are the last of the O Scale Custom Signal brand of the crossbucks. Quality is almost as good as the Tomar crossbucks. The LEDs include a lens. Same drive board is used for operation. Trigger from controller board may be IR beam OR isolated track. These signals come two per purchase as listed, or single units. One mast will have the characteristic bell at the top. On the real railroads only one mast of two would have the bell. The signals come with a phone plug that will be cut off to use the Royz Trains Crossbuck Controller. We have controller boards with proper current limiting resistor but some may require a 680 ohm resistor (supplied) is added to the common anode lead and then the wires are connected to the drive board. If you use these product with other than our products, the user is responsible for providing the proper resistor size. Multiple configurations are available:- Two lights per signal - two signals
