Accessory Controller With different trigger inputs this unit may also control motorized accessories, bulb driven signals, or LED driven signals/lighting. Trigger inputs can come from photo electric devices, isolated track, AC or DC signals. Details of connections are provided in the instruction manual. Additional applications are found here. Z-2500 Switch Machine Control, Accessory Control and Signal Driver The basic PCB control board has many inherent applications. These have been used with both the Z-2500 & Z-1000 switch machines, external controls inputs and to drive various signals. Z-2500 Control This PCB controller mounts below the control panel or train table to support many applications including operating signal lights, automated accessories, and LED indicators and will interface directly with the Z-Stuff 2500 switch machine. Further with the addition of a switch and two LEDs can provide panel indicator/control for Z-2500. External trigger can operate relay & Tomar dwarf signals based on AC/DC signal. Extensive capabilities and examples provided in the instruction manual. The more extensive kit supports up to three sets of LED indicators with the on board supply. Buy the complete kit with controller, two Dwarf signals and control panel items. Switch Point Power Protection Using a variation of the accessory controller the switch points of single or double switch may be selectively powered when actuated by the DZ-2500 position along with two dwarf signals. Supports longer #6 & #8 switches, double slip switches, and double crossover switches. This version has a 0.5A supply to drive the additional relays. The double crossover kit is special order and supports either through or crossover control and switch point power along with Tomar Dwarf signals. New Design provides screw terminal connection and improved PCB design. This is a simplified version of the accessory controller above and a reliable replacement for the Z-2502. It includes momentary contact switch and two LEDs mounted on a PCB controller. It is mounted below the control panel. Select right hand or left hand switch operation. Simple template provided to drill the three holes in control panel.

The Z-1000 controller kit replaces the Z-1002, but with no LED confusion, false readings, and can simultaneously operate multiple Z-1000 switch machines. This is more dependable than alternate methods due to the isolation buffer on our product! Panel mounted too! This controller has its own supply for the LEDs and only receives a very small signal from the Z-1000. This ensures the LED is on & properly indicating the switch(es) position. The O22 version operates the same as above and the instructions provide details for connection and installation. The toggle switch is center off with momentary positions to throw the switch machine. Nice and clean installation requires drilling three holes in the control panel. The LEDs are positioned where you want them and the toggle switch can be mounted near the switch icon on the panel. This is available with just the controller board, or as a complete kit with board, the LED PCBs and switch. Note that since we cannot control what you do if the controller is used with other switches or LEDs/lights, there is not warranty unless used with the specified items. The top right connector on the control board can handle up to 2 Amps AC or DC to additionally control signals or other accessories. If you find challenges on your installation, just contact us!

Vista Dome LED Lighting
This is for the typical central only vista area on streamlined scale cars. Provides LED lighting to upper and lower passenger portions of car. The upper areas may be dimmed using the supplied resistor from the three lower sections. Overall brightness is user defined. Flicker free. Provided is a strip supply 6" leads for all application along with adequate number of segments to fully light the typical car size and resistor for upper level dimming. A minimum of 9 volts AC or DC is required for full illumination! Suitable for DCC, DCS, TMCC, or conventional applications. Have a tail-end "observation" car with vista dome? Yes, we can provide a lighting kit for upper and lower sections along with LEDs for side markers, drumhead and top rear light. There are several variations of this car in O Scale and it is best to contact us with exactly what you have (length, rear lighting required, and manufacturer) so it may be built for you needs. -
Out of stockThis options allow you to add a warm white LED for each vestibule. Streamline cars typically have only one vestibule. Not recommended for full length vista dome, baggage, or RPO. Two may be added for most Heavyweight cars except the tail-end (aka Observation) and none for baggage and RPO. The kit provides the parts for a D-I-Y installation. The accompanying photos show installation in heavyweight cars but the effect is the same for the streamlined cars. Note that these kits are not needed on 72' scale cars (18" cars) as the standard kit is long enough to light vestibules for most applications.

This kit supports variable speed and direction of DC motors up to 12 VDC. Originally developed to support turntable operation it has other applications such as bridge motor control, etc.
The turntable speed and direction controller was initially designed for the Millhouse Studios Turntables. It is available as hand-held unit. It requires an input voltage of 12-22 VAC for normal operation. This controller will work with any motor driven accessory requiring a voltage range of 1.5 VDC to 12 VDC. The smaller voltage is the stall voltage for the motor drive and provides a very slow bridge movement allowing you to manually stop the bridge as the tracks line up. Other Voltage Ranges are available upon request. This capability is much more affordable than a fully indexed controller and easily allows for visual alignment of the tracks. To date this item has been used on several Millhouse Turntables, a Bowser turntable, bridge controllers and other motor driven applications.

The Tomar O Scale Switch Stand is internally lit using accessory voltage. The appropriate red/green aspect lamp is shown when connected to the switch position. These work directly with Ross, GarGraves and Atlas switches. The lantern area swivels with the switch point movement. The maximum voltage is 16 volts either AC or DC. We have found the fixed 12VDC supplies offered by Royz Trains give plenty of light and ensure a constant safe voltage. No burn out!!

The Tomar Marker Lamps come two to the package with the ability to light directly from track voltage using a low cost supply. These are available only with LEDs. The Marker Lamps work with our caboose and passenger lighting kits with adequate electronics. Not sure? Drop us a line to discuss your application - royztrains@gmail.com. These markers can be used on caboose, heavyweight platform car (aka observation), or any car you where you want to add side markers. The Royz Trains Supply provides a constant DC supply for wiring two Tomar Marker LEDs in series. Note you are welcome to wire the markers in parallel so I can sell you another pair of markers (if you aren't sure why this is funny, please read the directions). The LED markers require 3 volts each and low current and the LED Marker supply provides for driving these in series.

These Dwarf Signals are very close to scale size providing realism on your layout. We carry primarily O Scale signals that work with our products or may be used as standalone. The Dwarf signals work directly with our controllers or require an anode common supply with the appropriate dropping resistor to limit the current to the red and green LEDs. Anode common you ask? That means both of the positive connection leads from the LEDs are internally tied together. Most of the time you can connect the common anode to a 5 VDC regualted supply and put the appropriate sized resistor in the negative lead to ground. Our controller provides the supply and resistors along with an electronic switch to turn on the red or green LED depending on a trigger input. The Red over Green option may take a month or two to order and the minimum accepted order is 10 of this configuration.
