The turntable speed and direction controller was initially designed for the Millhouse Studios Turntables. It is available as hand-held unit. It requires an input voltage of 12-22 VAC for normal operation. This controller will work with any motor driven accessory requiring a voltage range of 1.5 VDC to 12 VDC. The smaller voltage is the stall voltage for the motor drive and provides a very slow bridge movement allowing you to manually stop the bridge as the tracks line up. Other Voltage Ranges are available upon request. This capability is much more affordable than a fully indexed controller and easily allows for visual alignment of the tracks. To date this item has been used on several Millhouse Turntables, a Bowser turntable, bridge controllers and other motor driven applications.

Vista Dome LED Lighting
This is for the typical central only vista area on streamlined scale cars. Provides LED lighting to upper and lower passenger portions of car. The upper areas may be dimmed using the supplied resistor from the three lower sections. Overall brightness is user defined. Flicker free. Provided is a strip supply 6" leads for all application along with adequate number of segments to fully light the typical car size and resistor for upper level dimming. A minimum of 9 volts AC or DC is required for full illumination! Suitable for DCC, DCS, TMCC, or conventional applications. Have a tail-end "observation" car with vista dome? Yes, we can provide a lighting kit for upper and lower sections along with LEDs for side markers, drumhead and top rear light. There are several variations of this car in O Scale and it is best to contact us with exactly what you have (length, rear lighting required, and manufacturer) so it may be built for you needs. -
Rear marker lights may be ordered for custom implementation in steam tenders or passenger cars. Kits are offered for just add-on of the rear or side markers with supply, or as complete car lighting kits. These kits are sold to add markers to existing heavyweight and streamline cars that came without exterior lights to face the rear. The rear facing Red LEDs are 2mm in diameter and require a 5/64" hole to be drilled in the rear of the passenger car or tender. The side mounted Tomar Marker lights require drilling in the side of the car, typically a heavyweight passenger car. The passenger kit lights the interior of the car with an internal dimension of at lease 15 5/8" length. Just need the Tomar markers? Check Here for more options

Out of stockThis options allow you to add a warm white LED for each vestibule. Streamline cars typically have only one vestibule. Not recommended for full length vista dome, baggage, or RPO. Two may be added for most Heavyweight cars except the tail-end (aka Observation) and none for baggage and RPO. The kit provides the parts for a D-I-Y installation. The accompanying photos show installation in heavyweight cars but the effect is the same for the streamlined cars. Note that these kits are not needed on 72' scale cars (18" cars) as the standard kit is long enough to light vestibules for most applications.

The Tomar O Scale Switch Stand is internally lit using accessory voltage. The appropriate red/green aspect lamp is shown when connected to the switch position. These work directly with Ross, GarGraves and Atlas switches. The lantern area swivels with the switch point movement. The maximum voltage is 16 volts either AC or DC. We have found the fixed 12VDC supplies offered by Royz Trains give plenty of light and ensure a constant safe voltage. No burn out!!

The Tomar Marker Lamps come two to the package with the ability to light directly from track voltage using a low cost supply. These are available only with LEDs. The Marker Lamps work with our caboose and passenger lighting kits with adequate electronics. Not sure? Drop us a line to discuss your application - royztrains@gmail.com. These markers can be used on caboose, heavyweight platform car (aka observation), or any car you where you want to add side markers. The Royz Trains Supply provides a constant DC supply for wiring two Tomar Marker LEDs in series. Note you are welcome to wire the markers in parallel so I can sell you another pair of markers (if you aren't sure why this is funny, please read the directions). The LED markers require 3 volts each and low current and the LED Marker supply provides for driving these in series.

These Dwarf Signals are very close to scale size providing realism on your layout. We carry primarily O Scale signals that work with our products or may be used as standalone. The Dwarf signals work directly with our controllers or require an anode common supply with the appropriate dropping resistor to limit the current to the red and green LEDs. Anode common you ask? That means both of the positive connection leads from the LEDs are internally tied together. Most of the time you can connect the common anode to a 5 VDC regualted supply and put the appropriate sized resistor in the negative lead to ground. Our controller provides the supply and resistors along with an electronic switch to turn on the red or green LED depending on a trigger input. The Red over Green option may take a month or two to order and the minimum accepted order is 10 of this configuration.

This Surge Protector includes a TVS to limit spikes and other spurious signals from damaging newer electronic controls used in steam and diesel engines. One is recommended per transformer connection to the layout. For more background and information see Description below. The item in the picture has been replaced by just the TVS due to rising production costs and is recommended when operating with QSI or any of the command equipped equipment. Instructions provided, of course!

Newest Add is a dual 10A board with plug that operates with 5VDC signal and may be used with our Accessory Controllers. In addition we have a selection of relays support different configurations able to control up to 15 Amp current with a 12 VDC low level signal. Detailed instructions provide example applications. Supporting 12 VDC supplies are sold separately. Each of the two possible power relays have onboard LED indicators showing when the relay has been energized. Typical application is to control signal lights along with power to a track section from a remote location. The low level current necessary to control the relay(s) is thus handled using much less expensive, smaller gauge layout wire and miniature toggle switches. Also offered are occupancy detection/signal presentation, three power relays, etc.
